THE CONCLUSION

In the end of XI - th century the significant changes in economik and social life of Kiev Rus, which required adaptation to them of political structures, took place. Groimd becomes the main centre of economic and political activity.

Each ground was under authority of a separate branch of a numerous kin of Rurikovichy. The unification of territorial authority with domenius made dynasts the real owners of ground.

In the end of XI-th century Chemigow ground had already its own dynasty of Svyatoslavichy, to which was very adhered. As a result of izgoskaya policy of great Kiev princes, Svyatoslavichy were excepted from the struggle for Kiev throne, so the seniority between Ruricovichy was lost. But such situation promoted significant economic development of Chemigov ground, increase of its military potential and political authority. All this together with the strengthening of the rule of prince’s dynasty of Svyatoslavichy in the ground subseqently enabled the Chemigov princes to begin successful stmggle for Creat prince’s table.

In the middle of XII-th century the main task of the dynasty of Svyatoslavichy was Kiev table and aspiration to revenge for exception of their line from patrimonial seniority. The active external policy of the dynasty was caused by two factors: by an extremely favourable strategic position and significant economic potencial. The consolidation, so-called “odynachestvo” of the dynasty was of great value. After the dieing out of the Davidivichy the united dynasty began stmggle for hegemony in Southern Rus, which was caused by the objective necessity of assotiation of the Ukrainian grounds in one uniform state. It failed as the attempts of political unification of the country from the side of other dynasties. Peculiarities of state development of territorial principalities- grounds, weakness of economic connections between them, and also continuous intervention from the side of influential Suzdal nrinr Aresidences to more safe areas.

The dissociation of ownership of Chemigov princes is connected with Khan’s attempts to restrain uniting processes. Especially it concerns the Chemigov dynasty due to important strategic position of the country from the side of controle over the European steppe.

The uniting of Chemigov and Seversky grounds in the Great principaliti of Lithuania is connected with the rule of prince Olgerd. Although representatives of the kin of Gediminovichy occupied prince’s tables, the character of Ukrainian State system did not change it remained territorial. Lithuanian princes were quickly filled>with the interests of grounds, began to execute the will of local boyars, tried to carry out independent of great prince policy. For the strengthening of country,s centralization the great Lithuanian prince Vitovt carried out an administrative reform. First of all he replaced the Novgorod-Severskiy princ Dmitriy Koributa Olgerdovicha, later on - others. Ukrainian Snate system was finally liquidated due to replacing in principalities dynasts for state provincial govermors. The epoch of development of territorial principalities was finished.
